Festival of the Peninsula celebrates our links with Donegal, Dumfries and Galloway through the media of music, art, literature, storytelling and folklore by booking key quality performers, enables the fesival to grow each year attracting out of state visitors....

This is a literary festival that attract writers and readers from all over the world. In 2008 the festival will enter its 17th year. The featival has attracted big writers down through the years, which includes Seamus Heaney and Jack Higgins.
There are plenty of book reading, debates and work shops to attend. At this festival you can even pick up tips on how to start writing you own novel.
